I was out of property since 2014 and would like to return as a valuer. I has completed my second year at CPUT Valuation Diploma. What is my next step to return to the Property business as an agent or as a valuer? My last registration at the EAAB was 2014. I got sick with my heart and had a few major operations. Since last year I am doing much better and would like to return to property business. Where do I start?

Good day Maimoona,

Thank you for your request below. Please refer to the blog sent out regarding CPD: The Way Forward.

Some key points to note from the blog:

1. All payments, up to and including for 2023, must be current.
2. CPD points outstanding from before 2023 are no longer required.
3. Your CPD Personal Development Plan (PDP) for 2024 must be completed.
4. The previous categorisation of CPD points into Verifiable and Non-Verifiable is now discontinued.
5. Going forward, four modules per annum must be completed. These can be found on your MyCPD PPRA Portal once released.
6. These modules may be completed via your PPRA MyCPD Portal or with a provider accredited by the PPRA.
