This course is designed for Candidate Property Practitioners who need to fulfill the PPRA’s requirement to complete their Practical Training modules.

In June 2024, the PPRA released guidelines for implementing 6 Practical Training Modules required for eligible Candidate Property Practitioners. These modules align with the Workplace Experience component of the new NQF Level 4 Occupational Qualification, however they cannot be done as part of the NQF4, this course is only intended for qualifying candidates.

How many credits does this qualification hold?

PPRA Intern Logbook: C&I Premium Course

Intern Logbook Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Premium Course

As a candidate property practitioner in South Africa, if you were issued a Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) before 1 July 2024, you can still complete your Logbook. To read more on how to go about this process, and achieve competency in your Internship please read this Blog.

The Logbook Premium course is fully modular, with each module dealing with a specific topic. The knowledge component of the course is generic as regulated by the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA).  It provides training material that must be read and understood, with short, simple quizzes that must be completed successfully at the end of each module before moving on to the next.

Once this has been done, you can progress to the Projects section of the course. A total of 10 Projects are provided as individual modules, along with PropAcademy-developed templates, which we have adapted to Commercial and Industrial where possible.

It is important to note that you do not have to print your Logbook out. You can send it to your Principal, who will be responsible for keeping it at the agencys registered office. You must ensure you read this Blog.

PPRA Logbook: Residential Premium Course

Intern Logbook Residential Premium Course

As a Candidate Property Practitioner in South Africa, if you were issued a Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) before 1 July 2024, you must complete your Logbook. Remember that you must be mentored by your Principal Practitioner or a Practitioner. The PPRA Logbook Premium course is fully modular, each module dealing with a specific topic. The knowledge component of the course provides training material that must be read and understood and short, simple quizzes that must be completed successfully at the end of each module before moving on to the next.

Once this has been done, you can progress to the Projects section of the course. A total of 10 Projects are provided as individual modules, along with PropAcademy-developed templates. Each project must be treated as a separate assignment, using the templates to help you every step of the way. The modules are easy to follow and give you a “hands-on” connection with PropAcademy.

You do not need to print your logbook. You will submit it to your Principal, who will keep it at your agencys registered office, and you will then move onto your NQF4 OC 118714.
