Description
Property Development Schemes form part of the knowledge required by The Estate Agents Affairs Board (EAAB) in their Intern Logbook PoE as well as by Services SSETA in the FET: NQF: Level 4: 59097: Real Estate qualification.
The Introduction to Property Development Schemes Course is aimed at people who are entering the property arena either as an investor, first-time home-owner or real estate property practitioner. In the real estate world, it can be used by the Principal Property Practitioners to train their sales team.
Different property schemes are categorised into a sectional title, freehold, share block, retired persons and group housing. It is interesting to note how legislation governs the development of all of these schemes and regulates both the buyers and the sellers. With the development of schemes in demand, it stands to reason that all investors and property practitioners must have a good basic understanding of each type of scheme.
The course covers the different ways of developing a retirement scheme, either according to the Retired Persons Act or per the Management Rules. It simplifies group housing schemes showing how different zones can interact into one scheme.
