Property Ownership – Part 1 is the start of understanding the different types of ownership in the South African market-place.  If you are a property practitioner entering the industry, this knowledge is required by The Estate Agents Affairs Board (EAAB) in their Intern Logbook PoE as well as by Services SSETA in the FET: NQF: Level 4: 59097: Real Estate qualification.

The Introduction to Property Ownership Course – Part 1 is aimed at property investors, people who are purchasing a home as well as property practitioners ongoing training.  It is designed so that Principal Property Practitioners can use it to train their sales team in a face to face environment or remotely.

To become a successful property investor you must understand the different types of schemes available.  The only way to gain this knowledge is to expose yourself to skill-enhancing courses, like this one.

Course Content

Part 1 of this course covers the following topics:

Property Development Schemes – how they are structured
Sectional Title Schemes – from the opening of the Sectional Title Register through to transfer and management of the body corporate
Sale of units – different applications are required depending on the scheme, and these are explained

The material consists of a detailed learner guide, a video facilitating the learner guide and a quiz.  Once competent you will be issued with a valuable PropAcademy Certificate of Competence.
